Christmas at Rumboldswhyke and Goodbye to Mrs Allen

Christmas is different for everyone this year but here at Rumboldswhyke we have tried to make it as fun and creative as we can. The children have enjoyed many activities such as making Christmas stockings to take home, bags to keep their biscuits in that they have made for their families, designed Christmas cards, calendars and enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch. The Year R & 1 children learnt the nativity story with actions, retelling the story and ordering pictures,  the Year 2 have furthered their learning and understanding by creating their own Nativity books.

After a very difficult year it was time to say goodbye to Mrs Allen, we held a special assembly in her honor. The Rumboldswhyke Team, children and parents would like to thank her for the wonderful support she has given guiding us through to the next exciting chapter of our school. THANK YOU MRS ALLEN – WE WILL MISS YOU!

Welcome to Mrs Harris our new Headteacher who will be starting in January.

The Rumboldswhyke Team and children wish everyone a merry Christmas and hopefully a better New Year.
